Ghana / Mr John Henry Martey Newman appointed as President Chief of Staff.

ACCRA, Ghana, January 14, 2009/African Press Organization (APO)/ — His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana, President John Evans Atta Mills has with immediate effect appointed Mr John Henry Martey Newman as his Chief of Staff.
 
Mr John Martey Newman has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and a bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree.  He is also a Barrister at Law (LB).
 
He worked at the Ministry of Finance from 1969 to 1973 and was a staff of Ghana Cocoa Board (GCB) from 1975 to 1992.  He later became the chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Cocoa Board from 1996 to early 2001.
