Message from UNAMID Joint Special Representative on the occasion of Ramadan

 

KHARTOUM, Sudan, July 10, 2013/African Press Organization (APO)/ — On behalf of the African Union – United Nations Mission in Darfur (UNAMID), I express our warmest wishes to the people of Sudan and Darfur in particular on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

 

Ramadan is the time of blessing, forgiveness and reconciliation, when differences are put aside in order to contemplate the great values of humanity.

 

Let us allow this holy period to guide us to friendship, kindness, charity and solidarity so that peace may prevail everywhere.
