The UN in Kenya community, in collaboration with the United Religious Initiative-Africa (URI) is pleased to invite you to join in the commemoration of the International Day of Peace at the UN Headquarters, Gigiri. The day was first established by the UN General Assembly (GA) in 1981 as a day of global ceasefire and non-violence.

 

The theme for this year’s event will centre around “Sustainable Peace for a Sustainable Future”.
