The purpose of the BUSA visit is to receive a briefing from the government of national unity in Zimbabwe, on plans for economic recovery and the potential role for South African business.  It provides an important opportunity to establish contact with the new government and to express the support of the South African private sector for efforts to rebuild the economy in Zimbabwe.  It is part of BUSA’s engagement as mandated by the SADC Employer’s Group (SEG) last year.
