Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation with President of Burkina Faso

The Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, João Gomes Cravinho, will travel to Burkina Faso to meet its President, Blaise Compaoré, with whom he will debate several issues within the ambit of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU, giving special relevance to the EU-Africa Summit, expected to take place on 8 and 9 December, in Lisbon.

 

This session, scheduled for today, 11 October at 17h00, at the Presidential Palace in Ougadougou, will take place just after the closing of the 12th EU-ECOWAS ministerial Troika Meeting, also taking place in Burkina Faso’s capital and in which Gomes Cravinho participates as president of the European Union’s delegation.
