Visit to Japan of His Excellency Dr. Boni Yayi, President of the Republic of Benin
TOKYO, Japan, February 25, 2013/African Press Organization (APO)/ – From February 27 to March 4, H.E. Dr. Boni Yayi, President of the Republic of Benin, and Mrs. Yayi, will make a working visit to Japan.
During their stay in Japan, President Yayi and Mrs. Yayi will meet Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan. Moreover, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is scheduled to hold a meeting with President Yayi to exchange opinions on the Fifth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD V), bilateral relations, international issues, and other topics.
The visit of President Yayi is expected to further strengthen the amicable relations between Japan and Benin.
