RELOCATION OF THE 19th AU SUMMIT TO ADDIS ABABA / ERASTUS MWENCHA DEPUTY CHAIRPERSON OF THE AUC SPEAKS
ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia, June 22, 2012/African Press Organization (APO)/ — The Republic of Malawi has withdrawn its offer to host the 19th AU Summit meetings initially scheduled in Lilongwe, from 9 to 16 July 2012. M. Erastus Mwencha, Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission speaks about the reason Malawi decided to pull out and explains why the Summit will be hosted at the same dates by Ethiopia.
