Three Italian nationals detained in Cairo
ROME, Italy, November 28, 2011/African Press Organization (APO)/ — The foreign ministry confirmed that the three Italian nationals detained over Friday and Saturday in Cairo were released last night to an Italian facility, where they await departure for Italy.
The affair, of whose developments Foreign Minister Terzi was kept continuously informed, was monitored from its early stages by the Embassy of Italy in Cairo, which, in connection with the foreign ministry in Rome, provided all necessary assistance toward its successful resolution, in particular consular and legal support.
