Italy / Mission to Mali and Burkina Faso by the Hon. Boniver
ROME, Italy, October 27, 2011/African Press Organization (APO)/ — The Hon. Margherita Boniver, Foreign Minister Franco Frattini’s Special Envoy for Humanitarian Emergencies, will soon be visiting Mali and Burkina Faso on an official mission.
The delegation will be made up of personnel from the Foreign Ministry’s Crisis Unit and the Directorate General for Global Affairs. During the mission, the Hon. Boniver will meet the highest authorities and government representatives of the two African countries to find out more about the Italian nationals currently in the hands of kidnappers in Mali and Burkina Faso.
