The comment was made by the Ministry Spokesperson, Maurizio Massari, speaking on Tunisian television. “We are very pleased that the elections were conducted in a democratic manner, as witnessed and certified by the international observers. We believe that this augurs well for Tunisia’s future”. Massari praised “the major organisational effort put in place in just a few months to organise these elections”.
