German Federal Minister Westerwelle meets South African Foreign Minister Nkoana-Mashabane

 

BERLIN, Germany, July 4, 2011/African Press Organization (APO)/ — Federal Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle is to meet South Africa’s Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, on Monday (4 July).

Their talks will focus on the work of the German-South African Binational Commission and the two countries’ economic relations, as well as such globally relevant topics as South Sudan’s imminent declaration of independence and developments in Libya and Syria.

Both Germany and South Africa currently hold non-permanent seats on the United Nations Security Council.
