Patrol denied passage
A UNAMID patrol heading from El Fasher to Tabit in North Darfur yesterday was denied access at the Zamzam checkpoint on the outskirts of El Fasher by Government officials citing an unstable security situation.
UNAMID patrols
UNAMID military conducted 106 patrols including routine, short-range, long-range, night and humanitarian escort patrols covering 77 villages and IDP camps.
UNAMID police advisors conducted 107 patrols in villages and IDP camps.
