African Union Peace and Security Council at presidential level
ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia, January 28, 2011/African Press Organization (APO)/ — The Peace and Security Council will be meeting at presidential level under the chairmanship of Mauritania to examine the situation in Côte d’Ivoire on 28 January from 17h00 to 20h00 at the Headquarters of the African Union. ECOWAS and Burkina Faso as the facilitator in the process in Côte d’Ivoire will be in attendance.
Journalists are invited to attend and to cover the opening ceremony of the meeting in Committee Room 1(CR1). A press conference is scheduled to take place at the end of the meeting.
