African Press Organization’s Secretary-General to undertake a working visit to Switzerland
GENEVA, Switzerland, October 22, 2010/African Press Organization (APO)/ — The Secretary-General of the African Press Organization Nicolas POMPIGNE-MOGNARD, will on 25-26 October 2010 undertake a working visit to Geneva, Switzerland.
APO’s Secretary-General is scheduled to meet with the Head of Media and Communications of The Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation, the Communication Team of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and the Communications Officer of the Polio Eradication Initiative at the World Health Organization.
The GAVI Alliance is an organisation that aligns public and private resources in a global effort to increase immunisation (www.gavialliance.org).
The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria is an international financing institution that invests the world’s money to save lives (www.theglobalfund.org).
The World Health Organization is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system (www.who.int).
