Ethiopia / Press conference of the AU legal counsel
ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia, January 29, 2010/African Press Organization (APO)/ — The Legal Counsel of the African Union, Mr. Ben Kioko, will address journalists at a press conference on Saturday 30 January 2010, at 5:30 pm., at the press center of the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Holding within the framework of the 14th Ordinary Session of the African Union Summit, the Legal Counsel will address the following issues:
Status of ratification of Treaties, Instruments and conventions of the OAU/AU;
The Abuse of the Principle of Universal Jurisdiction;
The Hissène Habré case.
Journalists are invited to take part and to cover the press conference.
