Official opening ceremony of the 19th ordinary session of the PRC
ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia, January 22, 2010/African Press Organization (APO)/ — The 19th Ordinary Session of the Permanent Representatives Committee (PRC) meeting will officially open on Monday 25 January 2010, at the headquarters of the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Issues under consideration during the PRC meeting will include: administrative and financial matters; the Report of the Commission on implementation of previous decisions of the Executive Council and the Assembly; legal, institutional and political matters, as well as economic, social and cultural matters. The PRC will also brainstorm on the theme: “Goal: Education for all” an item proposed by the Republic of Sierra Leone.
The 19th Ordinary Session of the PRC will end on 26 January 2010. The report of the meeting will be submitted to the Executive Council scheduled to take place on 28 and 29 January 2010 at the headquarters of the African Union.
