The Eastern Cape House of Traditional Leaders in partnership with Department of Education embarks on Intensive Initiation campaign
The campaign is aimed at minimizing and thus reducing the scourge of death during initiation. The House of Traditional Leaders will be led by the Chairperson, Nkosi Ngangomhlaba Matanzima accompanied by the following stakeholders: Department of Education, Department of Health, South African Police Service (SAPS) and the Department of Sports, Recreation Arts and Culture. The theme for this outreach is ‘Bantwana bethu nilithemba leli lizwe’.

The Deputy Minister of Communications Dina Pule attends the World Summit Award Winners’ Conference (Until 05 Sept)
Deputy Minister Dina Pule is scheduled to participate in a panel discussion focussing on the theme ‘Bridging Digital Divides and Narrowing Content Gaps: Strategies and Challenges’, and deliver a keynote address on ‘E-Culture & Heritage’. She will also be one of the respondents selected to laud the winners under the theme ‘Celebrating the Richness and Diversity of the World’s best e-Content and innovative ICT Applications’.
