Meeting with the President of the Uganda Journalists Association (UJA)

 

 

LAUSANNE, Switzerland, 20 juin 2009/African Press Organization (APO)/ — Nicolas POMPIGNE-MOGNARD, the Secretary-General of the African Press Organization (APO), had a 30 minutes working meeting on Friday June, 19, in Kampala (Uganda) with Mr Joshua KYALIMPA, the President of the Uganda Journalists Association (UJA).

 

Mr POMPIGNE-MOGNARD and Mr KYALIMPA in particular evoked the situation of the Uganda Journalists Association, as well as capacity building issues.

 

Answering the invitation of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) the Secretary-General of the African Press Organization was attending the Africa-Asia Business Forum held in Speke Resort Conference Center (Kampala).
