UK Foreign Office Minister for North Africa and the Middle East is visiting Tunisia on 24-25 February.

 

TUNIS, Tunisia, February 25, 2009/African Press Organization (APO)/ — UK Foreign Office Minister for North Africa and the Middle East Bill Rammell will meet with Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdelwahab Abdallah, with whom he will launch a new UK-Tunisia Bilateral Forum. The Forum will provide an ongoing framework in which to take forward co-operation in a range of subject areas, including political and governance issues, trade cooperation, investment, tourism and cultural and education exchanges. Bill Rammell will also meet the Tunisian Minister of Interior, Rafik Belhaj Kacem to discuss co-operation on security and counter-terrorism issues.

This visit will provide an opportunity for the UK and Tunisia to further develop the good relationship between the two countries.
