Ethiopia / AUC deputy chairperson Mwencha, to address journalists at press conference
ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia, January 28, 2009/African Press Organization (APO)/ — The Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Mr. Erastus Mwencha, will tomorrow Thursday 29 January 2009, at 12h00 noon, address the national and international journalists during a Press Conference to be held at the headquarters of the AU in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Holding within the framework of the 12th African Union Assembly of Heads of State and Government, scheduled to take place from 1st to 3rd February 2009, the Press Conference will address the following issues:
- AU budget 2009;
- Alternatives sources of financing the African Union;
- 2009-2012 strategic plan;
- Partnership between the African Union and the United States of America.
Journalists are invited to take part in the press conference that will be held in Committee Room 1 of the African Union Conference Centre, tomorrow Thursday 29 February 2009, at 12h00 noon. They are also invited to cover the event.
