UNAMID Force Commander visits Sector South

UNAMID Force Commander General Martin Luther Agwai and other senior military officials from mission headquarters paid a one-day working visit to El Daein and Graida in Sector South. The visit is aimed at welcoming the newly arrived troops from the Nigerian battalion.

 

UNAMID Sector West Commander receives Burkina Faso reconnaissance team

UNAMID Sector West Commander Brigadier-General Balla Keita and his Deputy Colonel Amgad Morsy today received the visiting Burkina Faso reconnaissance team at UNAMID’s Sector West headquarters. The team was briefed on the security situation in the area, the movement of political forces and the tasks of UNAMID forces.

 

The team leader thanked Brigadier-General Balla Keita and his staff for a warm welcome, and assured them that Burkina Faso is ready to help UNAMID.
