UN Special Representative for Somalia visits Sweden

On 28-29 April, the UN Special Representative for Somalia, Ahmedou Ould-Abdallah, is visiting Sweden to hold talks with Minister for International Development Cooperation Gunilla Carlsson, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Frank Belfrage and others.

Ahmedou Ould-Abdallah (from Mauritania) is a diplomat and UN official. Mr Ould-Abdallah has previously worked on behalf of the UN Secretary-General in places such as Burundi, West Africa and Sudan.
